Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO and founder of a software start-up company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Onerity - a High-quality UI/UX Design Company?
We hired Onerity for the following services:
- - Designing UI/UX of the mobile app. This includes consulting on the user experience and creating the app wireframes and screens for all user flows
- - Designing the app icon and mock screens for app stores
How did you select this vendor?
I searched for outsourcing companies in Vietnam that can design and develop mobile apps. After shortlisting 10+ companies, I interviewed each for their process and experience in design. Onerity impressed me after the first meeting with their design expertise, detailed proposals, and proactiveness in communication.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project was a mobile app for language learners. It allows users to learn languages through short video lessons. Each lesson comes with a video, a list of vocabulary, sentence-by-sentence transcripts, and different kinds of practices. The app also has gamification to increase user engagement. Onerity researched different apps and proposed a few key design styles. For each screen and UX, they want to understand in-depth why each feature is created. Based on that, they often come up with the best UI by proposing different variants. They always act on any feedback promptly. Onerity used Figma, making it easy to see the design, iterate and collaborate.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with the CEO and their team of designers and QAs.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I'm extremely pleased with the final design delivered by Onerity, which was miles better than what I originally envisioned. Onerity's passion for the product enriched the app and turned it into a much more engaging customer experience. For instance, they added the element of gamification which was not in the original scope of the project. The user flows and screens were detailed, making it easy for the developers (from a different company) to make the app based on the design specifications.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The CEO and project lead were super responsive, always responding and making adjustments based on feedback within 24 hours. Communication was seamless thanks to the use of Figma for collaboration, as well as video conferencing when needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I can't recommend enough their professionalism, passion, and commitment to designing a great product and giving the best service to their clients. The Onerity team truly loved and cared about the product and acted as if they were the product owner. They worked together as our partners, giving suggestions and advice to improve our initial wireframes significantly and create the best UI/UX. They were always very accommodating to changes, from scope and features to minor details.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing.
